We believe that currently it the best fixing system there is.
Its advantages:
- it makes the measuring process at your location as easy as possible
(it is insensitive to deviations, there is no need to use special
calculation programs);
- it makes the process for cloth welding very easy;
- since there is no welding joint along the perimeter, stretched ceiling
is stronger;
- welding joints can be readily smoothed at the location;
- it is universal: it can be used to install both film and joint-free
stretched ceiling, acoustextile, ornamental panels, etc.;
- the structure can be partially disassembled/installed without special
devices;
- large pieces of cloth can be installed without separators – up to 250
m² (for reference: harpoon system - 45-50 m² );
- it makes easier the installation process of complex curvilinear
ceiling and passages from different level;
- the cloth without harpoon welded to it is easier packed ensuring lower
risk of loss during transportation.
The only disadvantage of the system is that it cannot be used in low
(less than 40 cm) niches, for example, above high cabinets.
It includes three profile types:
- basic - ensures fastening to wall or ceiling;
- clamping wedge - it is introduced to special slot of the basic profile
together with the ceiling cloth ensuring safe fixation;
- skirt board - ornamental (noticeable) system component.
Basic Profile Types:
1. Universal, enables fastening both to the wall and ceiling. If it is fastened to the wall, the minimum distance from the stretched ceiling to
the base ceiling (if the horizon line is the bottom point of the base
ceiling) is 35 mm. If it is fastened to the ceiling, 23 mm.
2. Wall profile. The minimum distance from the stretched ceiling to the
base ceiling (if the horizon line is the bottom point of the base
ceiling) is 30 mm.
3. Ceiling profile with transition (transitional profile). It has two wedge fixation slots. It is used both to fasten pieces of cloth along
the perimeter and, if necessary, to join two pieces of cloth on the same
ceiling. The minimum distance from the stretched ceiling to the base
ceiling is 15 mm.
Skirt Board Types:
1.Universal skirt board. It is used together with universal and wall basic profiles. It has plasticized PVC edge ensuring solid (without
openings) adherence to walls with roughness of up to 5 mm in depth. It
is a noticeable system component forming an edge of up to 22 mm in width
along the perimeter of stretched ceiling.
2. Transitional skirt board. It is a noticeable system component of 20
mm in width. It is used together with transitional basic profile.
